Red Bull Empire of Dirt BMX competition coming to Ally Pally in May - tickets to be won

Local BMXers hearts seem all aflutter about what they're calling "The World’s most progressive BMX contest" coming to Haringey. The Red Bull Empire of Dirt will see 34 of the best BMX riders in the World  descend on Alexandra Palace in May to take part in the second instalment of the event.

Red Bull Empire of Dirt is a BMX slope style contest which aims to find the most well rounded rider from the various disciplines of BMX. The 2012 event will be staged in front of the magnificent Alexandra Palace, where 10,000 people will see the bikers taking on huge jumps overlooking the London skyline.

The organisers say they plan to make the 2012 Red Bull Empire of Dirt course the most challenging ever seen with oversized features, motocross style jumps and snowboard type hits.
