Recommending - plumber and carpenter
I needed some work done and would like to recommend:
Plumber - Samuel. Great plumber, came in to sort out the issue I had at a very short notice and time to accommodate me being at home (outside of "normal hours" . Sorted out the issue really fast and his fee was very reasonable. Also very pleasant and polite tradesman.
He is happy to undertake plumbing jobs - big or small.

Carpenter - Ross. I found Ross via recommendation on this Forum. Again, great tradesman, came in at short notice and sorted out the issue straight away. Very much recommended for small or big carpentry jobs. His number (with his permission) 077 0692 7771
I found it quite difficult to find up to date recommendations as search on this forum brings up results from few years ago which means few people I called (recommended on here) either moved away or retired or were not interested in small jobs.
Both Samuel and Ross responded to calls/messages very promptly and done the jobs I needed within a very short time - this is why I recommend them both.
Hope this helps someone looking for plumber or carpenter.

We try and ensure that as much as possible is tagged and we use this to create our recommendations list by trade or service. If you use this list (via the link on the top left of the Home page), results are presented for each trade or service with the newest first. Some may only return older results but the most common ones include plenty of newer ones (including plumbers and carpenters). Obviously we have no control over whether people accept small jobs or not.
I'm afraid that's the best we can do. To maintain an up-to-date directory would be an awful lot of work for a volunteer-run site.
If you find a recommendation for someone who's no longer offering a service, it's helpful to other users if you can add a comment noting that the person is no longer working.
