Probably wouldn't be as scary as it looks with a kango. A friend chomped through a load for me quite quickly.
The major hassle is getting it through the house and the disposal which is inevitably based on weight.
Thanks Adam. I've had one quote already which has suggested it will take 2 days but looking for a comparison. Luckily I have side access with makes things easier
I am afraid I don't have any recommendations - when I was breaking up the concrete covering most of our front garden, I just bashed away at it bit by bit with a 4 pound club hammer. However, for what you need, I would imagine a couple of blokes with a pneumatic drill could get it broken up and hauled away in a day or two. You'd then (judging by the photo) have a nice bit of space to create a proper garden. Good luck with getting it all cleared away.
