Had lunch at The Naturalist pub today which is just on the other side of Seven Sisters Road, in the Woodberry Down estate. As every time I’ve been, I was surprised that it wasn’t more busy! If you’ve not yet been, it’s a lovely light and airy modern pub (Youngs) serving good food and drinks, lots of space and comfortable seats, and a great location - easy to get to and right next to open green areas and playgrounds of Woodberry Down, plus near to the wetlands. It also has an outdoor seating area and is very family/child friendly. Dogs also welcome from what I’ve seen.
I noticed there’s not much about it on HOL, so thought I’d put up a quick review to recommend it - a lovely place for a relaxed meal or drink and with the option of a nice walk afterwards.

Thanks for sharing this. Looking online for photos of the pub, I found the attached sales particulars from last Spring with some nice photos. As you say, it looks modern and airy.
What did you think of the food?
It’s very good - not a huge menu but everything I’ve ordered on the various occasions I’ve been there has been fresh, well made and tasty. Not cheap but not outrageous - mains average £16 a plate. Today’s order included chicken escalope with skinny fries and a fennel salad, bavette steak with chunky chips and rocket salad, and a kids’ bangers and mash with peas and gravy. Desserts were rhubarb crumble and sticky toffee pudding. They also do lighter bites (pub snacks rather than starters) and a great roast on Sundays. It deserves to be a lot busier than it is, in my opinion!
