Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Recommend a painter / decorator
Could someone recommend a painter / decorator who they know does a good job at a reasonable price? It's quite a big job - about 5 days work to include stripping wallpaper, and ideally also repair one part of a wall where the shower pipe heat has caused damage. It would be great if you could tell me what work they've done for you and why you recommend them. Very much appreciated Cath

Hi Cath
i used Michael last year.
He painted a number of rooms including the hall and stairs.
He worked for approx 2 weeks and was always punctual, clean and polite.
His price was perfectly fair and he did a good job.
He didn’t do any repairs (as you mention) and I’ve no idea if he’d undertake that.

I've used Nick Roche (nick.roche@yahoo.com) who did my kitchen, front door and gate. In fact, just contacted him for another small job. He was great - excellent price, methodical work, cleared up properly. Also, really pleasant to have around, which I certainly wouldn't say for everyone. He did work for a friend of mine, equally delighted. Comes when he says. I think he can do some repair work but not sure. Very reasonable I felt.
