Receiving updates on highways repairs - Haringey wants to know your thoughts

Have you ever phoned or emailed us to let us know of a problem, or used the www.haringey.gov.uk/report_a_problem page on the Haringey Council website? If so, the chaps at the council would like your opinion about a new automatic update they' re developing that works with their report a problem page.

They would like more people to report problems, using the online report a problem page.

They are developing the computer system that supports the highways maintenance work so that it can automatically send progress reports or updates back to the person who filled it in.

This will mean that if you provide an email address when you fill in the report a problem page, you can receive up to 4 emails updating you of progress with your report.

They would like your feedback on how useful you would find these updates. Please complete this online survey by 8 January 2010.

Please note this automatic response is currently only planned in response to reports of problems with the public highway, such as a pothole, trip hazard or blocked drain
