Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Conservation Volunteers Green Gym have been hard at work this week building a secret den in Railway Fields to help children learn about the environment. The den is a natural space for school children to learn about conservation and consists of a green ark made from shrubbery.

Michael Bury, the senior community project officer for the Conservation Volunteers, said:

“The den will be used for education reasons so it is a nice little area for children to explore.”

Children from Woodlands Park Nursery Centre visited the park and its new natural den on Thursday.

The Green Gym's next project is at  the Paddock Community Nature Park on Thursday between 10.30am and 2.30pm to restore some wooden steps which lead to the picnic area using recycled materials.
