Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We have just returned from a couple of weeks in France and found our quince crop starting to drop. I picked some before we left and have already given some away and made 20 jars of quince chutney.  We also serve them as part of tray bakes and, no doubt a few more will go for quince jelly. However, we shall not be able to use them all.  The attached photo shows we have collected in the last two days and there are a couple of dozen more on the tree.

This lot are are ready and waiting for anyone who would like them.  Any takers?

Thank you! Hope you make something delicious!

I love membrillo! My partner is Argentinian and introduced me to it, over there it's quite a working class treat whereas I always associated "quince jelly" to be a posh thing here. I've also subscribed to your substack :)

Thanks so much! And how interesting about the class differences of quince consumption…

I would also love 3 or 4 if any still going! Will send connection request.

Hi, I'd really like a couple. Hope not too late?

I would love some if they’re available,
