Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We have just returned from a couple of weeks in France and found our quince crop starting to drop. I picked some before we left and have already given some away and made 20 jars of quince chutney.  We also serve them as part of tray bakes and, no doubt a few more will go for quince jelly. However, we shall not be able to use them all.  The attached photo shows we have collected in the last two days and there are a couple of dozen more on the tree.

This lot are are ready and waiting for anyone who would like them.  Any takers?

I love quinces but have already got a good crop of my own. Quince bakery in N1 are taking them though in return for baked goods. Worth popping in or dropping them a line.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, could I have a bowlful too please? How kind. There was an article in Country Life just a few weeks ago about quinces and what to do with them... I shall have to dig it out again. No problem if they are all gone already.
