Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi as a Dutch citizen I would also like to vote on 22 May, however I will be in Amsterdam then.
Can I give my husband permission to vote for me, via authorisation maybe?
Can anyone clarify how it works?

Thanks
Jessica

Hi Jessica, the link below takes you to the options open to you as an absent voter

Hi Jessica, obviously I assume you are already registered to vote. If not, you can also do so here:

The deadline for EU citizens to register is 6 May. However, best to move rapidly as it's a two-step process: first you get on the electoral register which allows you to vote in the local elections, and then you have to fill in a separate form in order to vote for UK candidates in the European Parliament (Unless of course you plan to vote for Dutch candidates as you will be in the Netherlands - if you vote for UK candidates you obviously have to declare you will not vote in your home country too).

He can vote on your behalf if you download, complete and return a proxy form from Haringey.
