Just stumbled across this Ladder based puppy training business - no idea if it's still going - https://plus.google.com/117482918313622664137/about?gl=uk&hl=en

Always ask what kind of training is offered before you commit: i.e reward based training using food and toys or games as rewards, and whether corrections are used or not. Will try and attach an article on rewards and the opposite in training. Simple rule: reward any and all behaviour you like. Ignore what you don't like, if you can't ignore as its too dangerous for the puppy or anyone else, redirect onto a game.

Excellent video from superb trainer Emily Larlham who has loads of free videos on YouTube:

Thank you so much vicky and admin I feel a bit more confident now I am looking everything up the alpha one sounds quite good at finsbury park also I have 2 books now. You have been really helpful xx

Hi - As soon as he starts to wee pick him up and run to the garden, make a fuss of him when he does it in the right place, they tend to go to the toilet in the same place, so if he goes in the house make sure his smell is not remaining, use vinegar and water even TCP to make sure he does not go back to the same place.  Many vets run free puppy clubs - I know the animal hospital at Wanstead (Goddards) do.  It is very important to get him socialised and of course he needs his injections.  Good luck lots of hard work at the beginning but it is worth it,  have fun, From Pam.

Hi Pam. Thank you. I need all the advice I can get. But I am loving him so much already a right little character I'm feeling very proud as I have just taught him to fetch a ball ! Feeling accomplished x

Hi Tina - Well done! Can you post his picture for us dog lovers please?

You added it to the picture gallery, but we've moved it for you. See our how-to for how to add a picture to a post.
