Is there a problem with postal services on the Harringay ladder? Not seen a postperson in Lausanne Road since last Saturday afternoon so I was wondering if there was a known issue.

I got 3 letters delivered today (Seymour rd)
All fine on Warham
Sometimes mail get lost before getting to local sorting Office. Also a well known cry from suppliers in the post. But not yet sent. Understand if someone is off. Overtime is offered and delivery normal done after volunteer finishes their round
This seems to happen a lot during the Christmas period.
I saw a postman on a Sunday recently and he explained that they were delivering on a Sunday to make up for lack of access (and therefore skipped deliveries) due to roadworks near Turnpike Lane.
I also received mail for people living on Allison Road the other day and I live on Beresford Road (same number as they). Either this was a simple error, or the post person is skipping streets? I remember a while back when I often received mail for my neighbours at either side of me, and suspect the postie was skipping houses. It happened too frequently to by a one-off error.

I've had no post at all this week and was expecting 2 letters on Tuesday that I was informed on Monday would be sent by guaranteed next day delivery. These things happen I suppose and I guess I'll just have to wait.
