Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Post redirected to the Post Office
I've had a few Royal Mail slips through my door saying I've missed parcels, etc.
When I look online at getting them sent to the nearest post office, the nearest option seems to be Turnpike Lane, not the one a couple of streets away on Green Lanes.
Are other people finding this? Is it due to postcodes. I live in N8, I guess the Green Lanes post office could be N4. The only option being one that's five times as far away seems a bit stupid.

Yep, I've had exactly the same problem and you are right - it is to do with postcodes. What is especially annoying for us is that we are one block from the Green Lanes PO, but because we are N8 (the first street after N4) we can't get mail sent there.
I did have a long email exchange with someone about it last year but it was as though I was talking Martian, so I now just get stuff redelivered (which itonically involves much more work for the mail).
