Pop-up space to open on Green Lanes for December - Suggestions / requests welcome!
The KFH offices will be available for community use for the month of December.
Ideas currently on the table include a pop-up market for a few days and a pop-up cafe. I mentioned it to a local who might be interested in hosting a pop-up cinema.
It's a blank slate. We could make it something very special. So, any ideas / offers / Requests?

Yup, lets get December going first!
And, yes this is the cinema that used to stand on the space from one of my many Harringay articles on Wikipedia. The picture is actually from me too. I have a host of old photos of the cinema and I daresay that there's a range of memorabilia knocking round locally - makes me think that an exhibition might be in order.

Is it practical to put everything in one place on this site, provided Rob is happy with the general approach? Something like this:
Contacts: people you can go to directly to offer help etc
How we got here: Links to it's history with photos where published.
Where we're going: Future plans, timetables, Floor plans inc wiring diagrams, resource requirements (chairs, people etc), business plan, lease details, insurance, licences.
How we intend to do it: Event calendar, work calendar, publicity and marketing, critical path etc
What is needed: Donate button, How people can help, what you can give/loan us.
Then we can promote a link to that page - sign in to HoL to sign up to help.

hi all, sorry i missed the meeting on Friday - i can see the plan is for a craft fair leading up to christmas - any plans to do a bit of a pop up market/jumble sale at any point? my friend runs an amazing wine stall - but i guess there might be licensing issues with that? all very exciting!

There's now a single destination for info about the project- please step forward and volunteer. Ideas are welcome, please continue to post in this thread.
We need an audience! Please go to the event page and let us know you're going to be there.
The first evening events up to now are Alison's Art History talks on Wednesdays and the Culture Jam on Dec 15th.
