Talked to the manager whilst I was in there today. It was an attempted robbery - nothing taken, no one hurt. He said, "We're too clever for them".

Thanks Hugh. It was unfolding in front of me as I drove along Green Lanes, e.g. police cars overtaking the traffic - glad it was less rather than more.
