Hello,
My luck on piano teachers for our kids has been dismal. We've had a couple of private ones and then we started lessons at South Harringay Infants instead, but now my son is in the Juniors the lessons have stopped. He's on the list with MPAC but his name probably won't get to the top of the list to get school lessons for at least a year.
So we're now looking to find a private teacher again. Does anyone have any local recommendations?
I've seen that the Penguin School of Music is on Green Lanes near the Salisbury, so that's very local. However, I don't know anything about them. Does anyone have any experience of them and know what they're like?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Hugo.

We did get someone, who we're very happy with. I'm not sure if he has more room though. Post back if you don't get Peter via Justin (reply below) and if that doesn't work I'll ask our guy if he has more space.
I've just texted my friend, Peter, to ask if I can pass on his details. Not sure if he can fit anyone else in?
Success: Peter Swales' mobile number is 07981 213 458. He's Tottenham-based, but most of his pupils are in St John's Wood, so I think he'll be pleased to have one or two 'locals'. Good luck. Justin
Ours lives on the ladder! If you still need someone let me know
