Petition Mounted to Bar New Chief Executive
Haringey resident Alex Williams has set up a petition to help organise protest against the appointment of the so called "East Council Boss' of Barnet Council as Haringey's new chief executive.
The online petition asks locals to call on councillors to oppose Nick Walkley's appointment:
We, the undersigned are alarmed to hear that Haringey proposes to employ the controversial Chief Executive of Barnet 'easyCouncil', Nick Walkley, who is jumping ship from a failing mass privatisation programme in Barnet that will cost taxpayers millions.
We do not want this expensive experiment repeated in Haringey.
We call on all Councillors to oppose his appointment (due to be ratified on 16th October) and any plans for mass outsourcing of Council services.

How can you claim you got more important things to do, when you spend so much time:
a) Talking about this issue?
b) Following me around the internet?
You are making assumptions on what your colleagues, as in Tories, are actually saying... I suggest you either find out some facts, or get on with your life. Involving yourself in debate whilst being ignorant is making you look even more stupid than you normally come across.
Still love you Little Willy - but this isnt a party issue, even your Tory colleagues in Barnet know that.
