Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Pear Picking Thursday 4th Oct 10.30-12.00, N22
After a great time on Monday picking pears in N15 a lady in N22, just north of Wood Green has offered to have us pick pears from her pear tree.
I would like to see if anyone is interested. If so please let me know via HoL mail, or a post here, or what ever method of communication is your poison.
As ever the protocol is that the householder gets first pick of what they would like to take, pickers then share whatever is left, and if there is any left after that we will find a deserving cause or we will juice them.
With juice in mind I am hoping we can hold a juicing event on Friday of this week for pears that are surplus or not really conducive to eating or cooking with (windfalls or smaller ones etc), but this is being organised by someone else. If we can do this I will let you know.

It depends on the time of day! I have to be in work for 11:30am so if it's earlier in the morning I would love to come!

Hi Robyn. I had originally suggested a 10.30 start, but if there are others more interested in an early start and the householder is ok with it we can look to do an earlier start. Can we see what interest we get from others before we try to change the current timing?
Bear in mind the time of year and that this will be a wellies on type exercise...
