Has anyone else done this? I did it last night and printed the permit out - but it looks so crappy in B&W that I'm nervous the wardens will think it is fake! I couldn't see anything that said it needed to be printed in colour - has anyone else done this and not been covered in parking tickets?

I have. Yes, it looks crap, yes it looks home made, and yes, I am worried about getting a ticket for displaying a "fake" permit too.. But I'm hoping the parking creatures will have the brain power to check the number on the permit against the car reg number, and see it's the real deal.
I just can't take time off work to go up to the parking office to get a "proper" one. And they're now closed on Saturdays. So convenient for the ones of us who actualy work for a living. Sigh.

Where on the site is this one-button council contact page? Thanks
Another brilliant addition to HoL. It just goes on and on.
Spoke to a traffic taliban this morning and he reasurred me that they are aware of these easy to forge permits, so no need to worry.
I actually got mine from the customer service centre (long Story) and that is the same. Personally I think we should charge them £10 for admin for printing our own permit ( Ryanair style ).
