It is a natural progression unfortunately, just like the distribution of traffic. You find it difficult for the motorist to park or drive, they move on. CPZ's will be in place in Cruch End soon, as they also have the overspill from Stroud Green.
Its not perfect but it made a huge improvement to the area when they intoduced it six or seven years ago.
