Mustard powder I can understand.
Cream can last for several days even when opened or made into butter (hard work but worth the effort!)

Tbh I am in no position to judge as I finally got round to getting rid of bank statements dating back several years fairly recently.
And I'm still hanging on to my letter from CompuServe from March 1996 telling me I have just joined the largest worldwide online information service and have become of one of 3 million users across the globe.

They became something of a celebrated joke at uni as they moved around with us and even made a stage appearance with me. Then they went into storage whilst I was living abroad and when I returned to the UK I didn't have the heart to chuck them.
