Open street market in Seymour Road off Green Lanes.

Interested to know what people think of the market in Seymour Road?

I wonder if the residents are happy with it?

It was very well executed I thought - good mix of traders, good entertainment for the kids and decent eats and drinks. Just a pity the weather didn't quite hold out.

Wasn't it great! Who were they? I thought they did very well to brave the rain. Half of them were not covered by the gazebo. The show must go on I suppose.

I was a bystander at the market, and later at the Lantern Parade. I was amazed by how many families had made lanterns - the marshals stopping the traffic across Green Lanes had a considerable job to do.

Once a year isn't too much of an intrusion, no?
