Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Open Day Activities and Guided Walk at Railway Fields on 18th September 2020 from 10-2

Join the Friends of Railway Fields and TCV Haringey for an Open Day this Saturday 18th September from 10am to 2pm.

From 10 until 1, there will be a tree ID activity for adults, mini beast hunts and Ugly Bug Ball crafts for children, making tiny nature journals where we show children (and adults if they want) how to make tiny zines about nature from a single sheet of paper, some collaborative storytelling for children as well as a chance to give feedback and suggestions for future activities, tell us what you love best about the site and talk to volunteers and staff about how the site is managed and what opportunities there are to get involved.

Between 1.15 (approx) and 2 there will be a guided collaborative walk, with a chance to ask questions, around the site, looking at how the habitats are created and managed and talking about the history of the site.

Join us at the cabin at the top of the cobbled path for the start of the walk.
