Does anyone want some free, 'used' single-glazed, sash units that could be used for making cold frames?
I recently replaced these with double-glazed sash and I've already used some to make cold frames and 'improve' my own shed. It takes energy to make the glass and window units & so its a pity to send them to the recycling centre i.e landfill? I still have 4 to give away as follows:
Approximate dimensions without the horns are
2 sashes x W900mm x H880mm and
2 sashes x W900mm x H910mm
They are still relatively sturdy.

PS - I've also got several panes of glass as follows, from other windows/doors that I changed
- large ‘texture-frosted’ pane 830x530mm
- 490x730mm
- 495x750 x 2 panes
- 400x470mm
- 320x470mm
All approximate measurements and for collection near Tottenham Green end of Philip Lane N17.
