I'm starting this as a new thread in case people don't see the update to the previous one.
Another cat has been killed by what appears to be the same dog, this time on Saturday (June 13) in Walpole Road. The owner has clear doorbell footage of the moment of the attack, which means the owner should be easily identifiable, and has asked for it to be circulated as widely as possible. They are extremely distressed and obviously want the dog stopped before it kills more cats or escalates its attacks on other animals or even children.
I'm just finding out now if we can include a relative's number for people to contact directly with information, and will update as soon as I have it. But if you do have any information, please share so it can be passed on in the meantime.

Omg!! Im so upset!! How could he let this happen again?? Have they made a police report? Are you able to private message me their information by any chance so I can forward this information to the police that worked on my case? To the owner, I send my deepest condolences. Im so so sorry. This should never have happened. I will do everything I can to ensure it does not happen again.
I am so sorry it's upset you – it's so awful he's allowed his dog to kill again. He needs to be prosecuted and the dog removed. I will send you a connection request on here to forward on the owner's details. I think they might have contacted the police but they'll be able to tell you more.
From local police:
"Good afternoon,
"You may have seen yesterday the circulation of awareness of a dangerous dog killing cats.
"Early in the morning, the dog and owner were located thanks to a member of public spotting them and calling police. The dog has been seized and will be examined by our dog unit to discuss the next step with the investigating officers.
"Thank you to everyone who contacted to provide assistance in locating the dog.
"Kind regards,
"PC Amy Hennigan"
I spoke to her and she said they might give the dog back if its proven to "not be dangerous". Disappointing, but hey. Glad its off the streets for now.
It's killed three cats that we know of – how could it possibly not be considered dangerous? Are they just going to wait until it mauls a child?
Apparently they will instruct the owner to only walk him on a lead and keep the dog muzzled 😐 I think he's been told before to keep the dog on a lead so wouldn't be surprised if he ignores this again. Hoping for the best. Will keep everyone updated if I hear anything.
