Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Obituary
Hello, I'm looking for suggestions to enter an obituary in a local newspaper with decent area coverage. I no longer live local. It is for my Brother, born in Harringay Road, N15, emigrated to Australia in 1962, just died in Adelaide. I was hoping that such an entry might catch a familiar eye. Slim chance I know but..........? Any suggestions for such placings appreciated. Thanks.

If you want traditional local press, there’s not much left - best bet is Enfield & Haringey Independent.

You could post it on this website as well. It's probably as likely to be read by people who knew your brother as it would be in one of those two newspapers mentioned.
Sorry to hear about your brother. Some of my family made the same move and its things like this which make you realise just how far away the colonies are.

Thanks very much Ozbawn and Heather Herbert for your condolences and to Hugh, Jeremyb and Ozbawn for your suggestions. All much appreciated. I ended placing an announcement in The Enfield Independent which seemed to give some coverage. Fingers crossed it may just catch someone's eye ?
But Hugh is it possible to place an obituary on this site as suggested by Ozbawn ?
