Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I realise this has been posted about before but felt the need to add my own voice. The new cafe across from Tescos on Green Lanes (replacing the horrendous Greedy Wok) is really delicious and friendly! We've been twice so far and the food has been prompt and very tastey.

We went the other day with 3-year-old and newborn. The food was nice enough and service friendly but the chef messed up on our order so my husband's food arrived about 20 mins before mine and 3-year-old's not till another 5 mins after that. There wasn'y sufficient acknowledgement of the mistake but I will certainly go again in hopes of better service next time.
The menu is vast. Not sure how they manage with that.

I think this is the best restaurant on the Lanes...
Fantastically friendly service, the most amazing home-made gnocci and desserts and, to top it off, on four occassions I have been presented with dishes on the house (how else was I to discover the esquisite pannacotta?) - and it's not as though I'm a big spender (usually the said gnocci and a glass of tap water!). Really cannot recommend more - although I appreciate that the menu is relatively limited. Though anyone that's watched Kitchen Nightmares knows that it's all about the limited, well-done menu!
