New website to help people access services from charity and voluntary groups in London

London Councils' grants scheme has launched a new website to increase awareness of the charity and voluntary sector groups it funds and the important work they perform.

People in need of the services provided by these groups and their families are now able to search by borough and service type to find out which ones are available to them in their local areas.

The new site also includes several case studies to provide people with a real insight into the services on offer.

Workers within the health, voluntary and local government sectors will also be able to use the website as a resource when making referrals or to commission services from groups in the future.

Funded groups are encouraged to upload information directly onto the new website which features comprehensive listings of news, photos and forthcoming events, including training courses, charity concerts and conferences.
