NEW HOME NEEDED FOR LOCAL CAT
Hi all,
there is a cat that belonged to one of the girl's flat mates in finsbury park cafe, to cut a long story short , the flat mate has gone back to Colombia leaving cat and the remaining girl cannot keep her! She is located in Duckett road, I do not have too much info other than that she is a spayed female approx one yr old, please call or txt me on 07988 250669

Hope someone can give your friend's cat a home. It may help to attract interest if you attach a photo of the cat.
Also more people might see your post if you change it to the Pets section, instead of no category chosen.

I got my cat from here back in May, so hopefully someone will take her in. Try twitter too. I tweeted a cat I know of in a similar crisis on Monday and had loads of interest.

What an irresponsible so and so! And so nice of you to help the poor unfortnate kitty. You should try Celia Hammond too, and do what Lauren suggested, put a photo on here. There's also Wood Green animal shelter. Try Hornsey Vet and the vet on Park Road in Crouch End, they have cat notices up in their surgeries, I really hope you find a home. Pease do th photo! Do you know anything about the cats personality, does she get on with other cats, does she go outside, is she microchipped, is she shy / outgoing / cuddly..?
I hope you find a home for her!

Thanks for replies, the problem is the girl who has her at the moment doesn't speak English too well so trying o get things across isn't that easy, will try to get a pic when she's back at work x

(The various local shelters are usually full/ have waiting lists.)
If you do get more details, please let us all know.
We'd be able to take a cat, but she'd have to be likely to get along with the 9mo old adolescent male cat that we have. Of course, that can be hard to judge.

James, with the right introduction that could work well, unless your boy is mega territorial. Ive done it successfully, you just need to give then time. Fingers crossed.

Hi I hope everyone one sees this, the girl who is going to Colombia wants the cat returned to her when she gets back in five months! So has dumped her with friends. On a more positive note, I was in sainsburys this morning donating some food to wood green animal shelter and it says they have got approx 70 kittens, so anyone looking for a kit please. Contact them xx
