Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Marcello La Valle is our new chef. Marcello's speciality is fish and seafood dishes and we have plenty of options to choose from our new menu.

Here's a few choices:

A new chef... after a few bad experiences, that is good to hear.  I'm just wondering what the new chef is like with Vegan options and if anything Vegan has been added to the menu?  I would love to pay a visit again.

We are sorry to hear about your previous bad experiences Nigel and so pleased to hear you would love to pay us a visit again. You can expect exactly what Gordon T replied (thanks Gordon).

Our new menu will be on our website very soon, it's with the programmer to format and upload.

New chef - and new menu - don't go by what (today) is on the website.

As for vegan options (as looks to me - I'm not vegan but vegetarian) in the new menu, in the starters there are various breads plus toppings, also crudites, plus a timbale of roasted mixed vegetables on polenta bread. Mains: risotto with grilled squash, spinach and saffron (assuming no butter in the risotto). There are three salads with cheese but would be fine without. All the sides look like they're vegan, and one, possibly two desserts.  And of course just ask, perhaps ahead of time - it's an unimaginative chef who won't go 'off piste' if asked.....
