Jason Jenkins, 39, decided to plough a £70,000 redundancy payout into his dream business after accepting voluntary redundancy from a high-flying advertising manager job at the Sunday Times after 13 years.
Plans are now well underway for the new business to open in a workshop in The Grove that has been empty for four years.
''I want to create a nice environment for the family - mum and dad have a coffee and relax and enjoy the sunshine, while the kids are running around outside," said Mr Jenkins, who leaves his job in June.
