Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

... five or more unrelated people are living in the property, right?

http://www.haringey.gov.uk/index/housing_and_planning/housing/landl...

The residents next door had a bit of a blow-out party last weekend, as one of them was leaving.  Now, the landlords appear to be in, and are subdividing the front bedroom into two L-shaped-ish spaces, with the wall coming to the front in the middle of the bay window (so not a bathroom, otherwise why bother with the odd plan and the mid-window wall?)

By my count this will give them at least five young residents - four upstairs, one or two downstairs, in a two-storey house of less than 1150 square feet.

Please someone tell me this is dodgy... because if it isn't, it should be.

Thanks both.

I gave the council a call, but planning officers are only in for consultation from 2 until 5 o'clock.  Meanwhile I can hear construction work proceeding apace... Will try an email.
