My foodie photo of the week

I guess it's no secret (especially if you follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram) that I'm overly fond of taking pictures of my food and drink.

With hashtags like #lunchtweets #teatimetweets and #beerpicoftheweek I aim to spread the Eat/Drink Local message. It's got to the point now where if I don't whip out the phone and take a photo of my dinner or pint, the kids ask me what's wrong. "Don't you like it, Mum? " (not usually true, I'm probably just hungry).

As I've not eaten out much these last few days in the local area, I've not had many pictures to share but this morning I popped in to see the Shamata crew and couldn't resist taking a picture of the freshly baked cookies that Melda had just made. As I photographed the oatmeal, hemp and flax cookies stacked up next to the white chocolate ones, she carried out a tray of chocolate cookies (melt in the mouth good).

So at the risk of creating a run and finding myself cookieless, get a load of these:
