Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Having put on a couple of events last Spring (a medieval harp recital and a "come and sing" event), the Music on the Ladder team at St. Paul's Church, Wightman Road have spent the summer putting together a whole season of events for the next several months.  We're finalising the dates for the second half of the season, but here's a taster of what's coming soon.

Our first event of the season will be a recital, entitled "A Wandering Minstrel", given by young tenor Anthony Harbottle on Saturday, 22 September at 7.30pm in St. Paul's Church.  Anthony's programme will feature both sacred and secular works and will offer something for classical and modern tastes alike.  Those of you who came to our "come and sing" in May will remember Anthony as our tenor soloist, and we hope you will agree that his warm, rich tones are worthy of a repeat visit.  We've listed the recital as an event on here with all the pertinent details.

We're also planning another "come and sing" event for 20 October - if you're interested in singing, please put it in your diaries and watch this space for more details.

Finally, if you're a musician or singer (or a group of either or both) who is interested in giving a recital or concert in the church, please get in touch - it's a beautiful building with great acoustics and a fantastic atmosphere!

You can get all the latest information about our events (if you don't see it here) by liking our facebook page at www.facebook.com/musicontheladder or by following us on twitter: @musicontheladdr (that "e" really isn't there!)

We hope to see you all at a Music on the Ladder event soon!
