On Saturday, 22 September, a wandering minstrel will wander into St. Paul's, Wightman Road and share a musical journey from classical gems through to the modern age.
Anthony Harbottle has a fine pedigree of solo and choral singing, and his warm, rich tones and wide-ranging repertoire are sure to include something for everyone and hopefully quite a lot for most people. The programme will include pieces by Rossini, Mendelssohn, Sondheim, and Gilbert & Sullivan, along with a couple more surprising choices.
Anthony Harbottle - tenor
Bethany Burrow Atherton - piano
The recital will start at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be available afterwards and there will be a retiring collection for church funds (suggested donation £5).
It would be lovely to see you all there!
