Further to my post a few above, I am interested to see that Onslow Gardens, Woodland Gardens and Woodland Rise in N10 are all classified as a P1 roads for gritting. Onslow Gardens is the steepest of the three, but is less steep than Allison Road in N8. However, these three are in Muswell Hill, near the border of MH and Highgate (so not a surprise to me that they get higher priority from our Council), another fine example of us being classified as second class citizens.
Following emails from residents and reading the posts on HoL, as a councillor, this morning I suggested to Haringey staff that they urgently consider temporary warning signs at the entrance to certain very icy roads - especially steep hills. It seems that someone has gone one further.
