I suspect I know the answer but is this place any good?
I sometimes look in the window and they seem to have some reasonable clobber. However, I never see any customers in there and am reluctant to be pounced upon by a sad Green Lanes merchant who won't let me out of the shop without first buying a shiny Paul Simon/Anthony Pepe suit out of pity.
So has anyone ever been in there? Do they sell decent gear or is it just a front like that other menswear shop on Green Lanes that specialises in drug dealer chic?

The words "clobber" and "gear" inserted in a clumsy way suggest you'd be better off at Moss Brothers. On the other hand I think you should investigate this shop because the choice of decent MENSWEAR shops is getting very limited. It is almost as if the feminist hierarchy with its spending power and improved position in the workplace has conspired with the decline in retail to erase the concept of mid range affordable mainstream masculine couture that can be worn by men 30+. Shops like MERTOTEX are like GOLDDUST cherish them!
13 years and I've never purchased any clothes for myself around here accept TK Maxx Wood Green. Get real, I'd rather not be set alight by a stray cigarette ember

Purchased socks @ Marks and Spencer
Should merge OP's question into "War on Plastics" thread
