Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello all-

I've taken in a stray Tom cat. He's a lovely animal but needs to be fixed ASAP! Does anyone know of any good spaying/ neutering clinics that are local? I've already tried Wood Green animal shelter, but they only provide the service to the pets of people on benefit.

My female cats and I will be greatful for any suggestions.

Your local vet will be able to do this for you, surely? Or maybe contact the Celia Hammond Animal Trust: www.celiahammond.org, they might be able to help? Good luck!
Thanks -- I guess I'm going to bite the bullet and pay the £50 the local vet charges.
Hi, I've got a leaflet about free neutering. It appears to be a scheme run by the 'Cat Care & Control Consortium' and the Greater London Authority. The postal address is given as: Free Cat Neutering Offer, Box 145, 2 Lansdowne Row, W1J 6HL. There is no contact number or email. I think I got the leaflet from Railway Fields nature reserve so you could pop in there on Monday and pick one up. Good Luck.
Thanks -- I just looked then up. It's only free for people on benefit -- darn!!!
you can also have it done if you feel you are on low income or have taken in a stray im pretty sure-you can go along to rspca harmswork hospital on sonderford rd-they have leaflets-I have never been asked for details when i have sent off for a voucher
All those low- cost programmes are for people on benefits and low-income. It's a bit strange because it seems like a deterrent for people with jobs to take in strays and to neuter their animals.

I took him to my regular vet and he seems to be recouperating nicely, though he's still acting like a typical Tom cat and terrorising my female cats : )

For anyone on low income, you can get free neuturing by applying for a voucher
