Seen on other Forum Boards of pictures of a man stealing plants etc.

Next door has two large potted plants on his doorstep

Seen several people touching them. But needs two people to lift them

Your stolen gnome may be a 'supply and demand' consequence of a nationwide garden gnome shortage, it appears (or more likely some lowlife having nothing better to do, I realise).

"We haven't seen a gnome in six months now unfortunately" said the manager of a garden centre. 

I hope you can eventually replace your weightlifting friend.
