Justine, are you registered on that site? If you are I wondered if you could ask them for a photo of their cat. We have a black and white at our house, appeared this morning. Could be theirs. Alison
Hi Alison. Yes I am registered on the site, but I've now realised that this missing cat listed on animal search is probably the same one as listed missing here www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/missing-cat-rathcoole-gardens
As for the cat you have found, there are a few local lost black and white cats. Maybe start a new post and try taking a good close up photo of the cat as it will help people recognise it, and mention the road/area location.
If no-one recognises the cat on here, you could take it to the vet to be scanned to see if the cat is microchipped and whether it needs to be neutered.
If the cat is not microchipped, but neutered, maybe try putting a collar on the cat with a note attached with your tel no and see if any owner calls you. (I always encourage cat owners to get their cat neutered, microchipped, have a cat flap and keep their cat safe inside at night).
You can put details/photo on www.animalsearchuk.co.uk if you find a pet. Then anyone who has registered a lost pet in the area, will be automatically notified.
