Lost - black and white cat
My black and white cat has gone missing from the Duckett Road area. He has a distinctive white moustache and white paws. He has been neutered and microchipped but doesn't wear a collar (he somehow always manages to get them off within hours of having them put on). Would be fab to know if anyone has seen him.

Will keep a lookout, hope you find your lovely cat soon. When did he go missing? I saw a black and white cat on Duckett Rd a week ago - I noticed him as I was concerned about a cat being on the road - he was going in and out the front gardens on the top half of the road.
Well done for microchipping him. Remember to call the microchip company, tell them he is lost and check that they have your correct contact details.
Empty some contents of your hoover outside your home (or put out something which has his scent) as he will recognise scent even if quite far away.
It's also a good idea to put details of a lost pet on www.animalsearchuk.co.uk

Thanks Justine. Have updated all bits with the microchipping company and uploaded his details onto the animal search website. He's been missing for a couple of days - it wouldn't surprise me if you saw him in the front gardens on Duckett. He's just discovered that he can get around to the front of our house by going along the new river....he generally stays in the back gardens though as is scared by cars.
Will get some scents going outside our house.
