Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Looking for someone urgently to replace our front door
Basically with all this terrible weather, our front door, and frames are even more badly damaged. So we were temporarily locked out last night after the storm.
So we are looking for someone who can dismantle the front door, and porch area, and replace our middle door with a sturdy door. We need it doing asap really, rather than waiting weeks/months
Be glad of any suggestions.

We recently used Camfield Maintenance (Tony Camfield) to do four fire doors, including alterations to the frames. He was very quick and effective. 07814 389044.
Not sure how busy he is though.
We found him through Check-A-Trade.

Sounds like you have a problem with damp getting into the existing door and door frame and warping them. You should get this looked into, to see if the damp is rising just in the wood, or in the adjoining walls. If you don't eliminate any damp problems, your new door and frame will warp like the old ones.
