Long-handled shears or tall step-ladder

I need to prune a tree in my garden which has got a bit on the tall side - just a bay tree so not a major job, I just can't reach the top!

So, if anyone on the ladder has a pair of long-handled pruning shears I could borrow, or alternatively a 7 or more step stepladder, I'd be very grateful! I'm on Hewitt Rd and would be happy to pick up and drop back as soon as the job's done.
