A rare outing of this rare quartet consisting of Montreal-born-Paris-based tenor saxophonist Francois Theberge, New Yorker Jeff Williams on drums, cosmopolitan midlander Percy Pursglove, playing both bass and trumpet, and 'almost local boy done good' Hans Koller.
Although Hans brings in most of the compositions, this is very much a group effort, with each member taking turns in supporting, leading, probing, and in Francois' case, sometimes sitting in with the audience. Expect the unexpected...
