Localgiving.com
Localgiving.com was founded in 2008. The pilot phase of Localgiving.com was launched in eight Community Foundations throughout 2009 and 2010. The website is adding more charities each day and aims to cover the whole of the UK in 2012.
Localgiving.com aim to enable philanthropic giving to small local charities and community groups in the UK.
I know we have a few local groups in Harringay like the Friends of Ducketts Common. There are many more across the borough. Few yet show up on the local giving website.
An avenue worth exploring for us all to give and for local groups to use as a channel?

There are a few Haringey groups online at the moment. As a local resident it's great to see these groups have an extra avenue of funding, did anybody donate during the Match Fund on 1st and 2nd March? If you know of any groups who would like to register they can email help@localgiving.com for assistance.
