Literacy and Numeracy courses in the New Year

A series of courses to help adults improve their literacy and numeracy skills are to be held from January.
The courses are being run by HALS - Haringey Council's adult learning service.
They are aimed at adults who need to improve their spelling, writing and reading. They will help people improve their skills for future courses and training.
The numeracy courses will help people with day-to-day activities such as working out bills and helping children with homework.
Ten courses are being run from January to March. Nine are being held at Wood Green Learning Centre at the Central Library. One is being held at the White Hart Learning Centre in White Hart Lane.
If you or anyone you know are interested in taking part in the courses, go to Wood Green Central Library or ring 020 8489 2500 for an assessment.
