Kurdish March this Sunday along Green Lanes

A Kurdish March is planned for this Sunday 17^th February to protest at the arrest of PKK leader Öcalan in 1999.

 The route details that we've been given are:

• 1330hrs - leave from outside Lidl store, Angel @ Edmonton and head south along the following route :-
• Fore Street N18
• High Road N17
• Philip Lane N15 (turning across the traffic and therefore avoiding the Tottenham one way system)
• West Green Road
• Green Lanes
• and finish at the Kurdish Community centre, Portland Gardens N4 at around 1630hrs / 1700rs

Arrangements are being put in place to deal with traffic implications, as well as a policing operation managed by the MPS Public Order division. 

The police advise that 300-500 people are expected to participate.
