Join Friends of Stroud Green Library new Yahoo Group!
A new Yahoo group has been formed for the Friends of Stroud Green Library and people with a connection to the library, for example living in the areas it serves; Stroud Green, Harringay and Eastern Hornsey, are invited to join to find out more about the library, its events and the Friends' events and help to express support for the oldest purpose-built library building in Haringey.There are links to related things and an excellent History of the Stroud Green Library will be found in the Files section. Please join and express your support for our local library.
Earlier this year there was a rumour - since denied by Haringey - that the library might be under threat of closure - but in the current climate of cuts it is always possible that the library may be threatened in the future. Join the Friends and express your support.

I'm sure I'll need little by way of moderation, Clive but you will, of course, have my sympathy and understanding should the need arise.
I've circulated the URL to S Harringay Infants and Nursery PSA, given it a little plug on Twitter and it will get a mention on our Facebook page.
I think I was member number 10. Who wants to be number 15?
