HANS KOLLER QUARTET

Internationally renowned pianist and composer Hans Koller has worked and recorded with many of the worlds foremost jazz musicians and composers  including Bill Frisell, Steve Lacy, Steve Swallow and Mike Gibbs. This quartet will be performing classic repertoire from the likes of Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus and Herbie Nichols.

MATT RATCLIFFE TRIO

This trio is led by pianist Matt Ratcliffe who first started playing jazz in the Derby and Nottingham area, but studied on the jazz course at Birmingham Conservatoire obtaining a first class degree. He was actively involved with Derby Jazz's education work, and worked closely with saxophonist Tony Kofi as part of that programme. He is a fine swinging pianist a very interesting composer.
