Jazz at The Salisbury presents - Sunday the 30th of March - The Josephine Davis and Robbie Robson Quintet

We have a very special gig coming up on Sunday 30th March...............

Trumpeter Robbie Robson, recently heard with Evan Parker, and Perrier Award winning Saxophonist Josephine Davies team up once again to bring you an evening of great music. Tonight's all-star line-up features Parliamentary Jazz Musician of the Year Phil Robson on guitar (no relation!) and in demand Bassist Dave Whitford - often heard together playing with Christine Tobin or Julian Arguelles - with legendary drummer and percussionist Paul Clarvis bringing his eclectic gifts to the mix. The programme consists of a variety of contemporary compostitions and standards, all creatively interpreted by this exciting new band.
